In the early days of his career, Mario drove all types of race cars & was quite good at whatever he drove. Who knew at that point he would go on to become the greatest race car driver in the world!

Back when you could run asphalt & dirt modifieds on some of the same tracks. Geoff Bodine at Flemington & Charlie Jazzombek at Nazareth National for the then popular All-Star Races, both taken in 1970.

The Ken Brenn midget team was in full force at Williams Grove on 9/28/69. Ray Tilley at the wheel of one of Brenn's famous midgets. The iconic Brenn name lives on 50 years later at the Grandview Speedway with Kyle Larson at the wheel for the USAC Midget Eastern Swing. A great salute to Ken Brenn Sr!
