Among the most common foot problems presenting at our facility is pain secondary to plantar fasciitis. Although it's flip flop weather, not wearing proper footwear could be a major factor in plantar fasciitis pain.

"Defy Gravity" in the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill. We are one of only a few facilities in the Philadelphia area that offers this advanced rehab tool other than the Philadelphia Eagles, Sixers and Flyers. The AlterG allows loading without pain and can provide up to 80% body weight support by controlling gravity!

Early intervention with mobilization techniques and assisted range of motion is the primary factor in preventing adhesive capsulitis which results from a variety of shoulder pathologies. Often times, patients presenting with what appears to be a mild tendonitis or bursitis are told to apply ice or heat, take some Advil, and check back if pain persists. More often than not, many of these patients do not resolve and continue to compensate by avoiding motions, setting up advancing capsular patterns. If physical therapy was started in its early stages, the long rehabilitation period seen with adhesive capsulitis could be avoided. New techniques are much less painful to the patient and result in more rapid resolution with functional gains, pain relief, and mobility enhancement.
