South Strabane Twp Police Department along with Sams Club Pharmacy, has partnered up to join The Drug Enforcement Administration's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Come to Sams Club (80 Trinity Point Dr. Washington, Pa. 15301), on October 24, 2020 from 10am - 2pm, to dispose of any unwanted, unused, or expired medication in your home. Please be aware that The South Strabane Twp Police Department is a 24/7 collection site. Please help make the public aware by sharing, liking, or commenting.

The South Strabane Public Works Department will be performing road repair and paving work on Quarry Road from October 19th through October 23rd. The intersectio...n of Floral Hill and Quarry Roads through 271 Quarry Road will be closed to vehicular traffic until work is complete. It is always an honor to be able to attend the 9/11 Memorial hosted by South Strabane Township Police Department. 19 years have passed, but the pain and sorrow ...remain fresh. Today we honor all of those who died 19 years ago, as well as, those who continue to live with complications from that day. The 9-11 memorial Service will look different this year. The South Strabane Twp Police and Fire Departments wish to invite you to the 9-11 memorial service. You will notice most first responders attending will be gathered together away from where the memorial service will be conducted. After the brief service, first responders will pay their respects as a group in a processional drive-by / parade style. Please adhere to the CDC guidelines including social distancing and wearing of masks.

Just want to give a shout out to SOUTH STRABANE POLICE DEPT today!! All 3 officers!! A lady was broke down behind hobby lobby. They (2) blocked traffic and one ...of the cops was changing her tire for her! That’s awesome!! Things like this need attention! With all the bad in this world... we need to shed some light on the good!! If this gets back to them (fingers crossed that it does, I will buy them all 3 lunch of their choice!!!
