Adults are invited to our "Baking with Maria!" virtual program on Monday, December 21st at 6:30 pm! We will be baking a Venezuelan quesillo! You may not know that a truly Venezuelan quesillo, (which is looks similar to pudding) is the most requested food in any birthday party (after tequeños). It is one of the most famous Venezuelan desserts. The main characteristic of a good quesillo is its holes, which makes it looks like a cheese. Children are invited to our "Reading/Math Tutors" program on Friday, December 18th at 6:15 pm. This program will take place on Zoom. Our Reading and Math Tutoring will allow children to work through math work problems while having the opportunity to present information from their book selection. Children are invited to our "Zoom Around the World - Stuffed Animal Storytime" on Zoom on Tuesday, December 15th at 11:00 am. Each week we will focus on a different state for the storytime and discuss the place, the people and the customs. First, we will listen to a book related to the weekly theme and then we play a game. There will be songs, stretches, stories and tons of fun and we will give you and your family an activity to complete outside. Don't forget to bring your fa...vorite stuffed animal! South Park Township's Virtual Light Up Night will be available to watch at 6:30 pm this evening. The Library's Mosaic Mural will be dedicated during this online event.
