Snail Mail Stamp Increase The price of a First Class stamp goes up a nickle (50 cents to 55 cents) effective Sunday, Jan. 27. Avoid this, at least for a little while, by buying your "Forever" stamps no later than Saturday, Jan. 26 at the lower price. Standard postcard mailing does not increase and stays at 35 cents.... Interested in EDDM (Every Door Direct Mail)? That price increases almost a penny from 17.8 cents to 18.7 cents on the same date.
