With our deepest gratitude and appreciation, we would like to sincerely thank South Greensburg Borough Street Department, Borough Council and Mayor for their kindness and generosity to our borough and residents in this troubled time. With our streets department not working as result of the pandemic, we were unable to collect our own garbage and South Greensburg Borough rose to the occasion in our time of need. For this we give our sincerest thank you.

SW Greensburg NEWSFLASH!!!! Santa is Coming To Town. Yes Boys and Girls, and even adults: Santa IS coming to our town. He has been very busy arranging all his visits around the world. He has chosen this Friday Night....Our Luminary Night to ride along our streets with the help of our Fire and Police Departments. Keep watch on this site and the SW Greensburg Civic Society Facebook page for Santa's "flight plan" once we get it. Help Santa find you by lighting up your holiday decorations and luminaries. Garbage pick-up will be suspended effective Wednesday, December 2 to Tuesday, December 8. Pick-up should resume Wednesday, December 9. Also, the borough office will be closed for walk in service effective immediately. Please call 724.834.0360 or email [email protected] for assistance. Payments can be mailed or left in door mail slot at 564 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these difficult times.

Just a quick reminder, there will be no trash collection on Thursday, November 26, 2020. If you are scheduled for trash pick-up this day, it will be collected on Friday, November 27. Thank you.
