Meet Phoebe! Phoebe’s favorite activity on SpArc’s Virtual Services is the daily tours, which have helped her explore far-flung places like Disney World, Greece, Italy, and the Space Station. Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm along with select weekend activities, the virtual program helps participants at home work on personal goals, discover new and interesting themes and activities, and connect to SpArc staff and peers, thus reducing isolation and increasing engagement. #SpArcGood... This past August, we had a fun virtual visit with therapy dog Carmen from Therapy Dogs International. Even cooler than that, we got to meet her in person last week. BIG news!! Neurodiversity in the Workplace has received a $2 million endowment from philanthropist Lisa Yang. Now the NITW team is in a great position to tackle its ambitious aim of encouraging employers of all types and sizes to embrace neurodiversity as key to their talent acquisition. "Let us be disrupters and agents of change, and bring true meaning to diversity in the workforce," Lisa Yang said about the endowment and her partnership with the organization.
