Just a friendly reminder, for hunters interested in the antlerless deer license application schedule, the date for the first round of unsold licenses is Monday,... Aug. 3. To apply for an anterless deer license, you will have to purchase a new valid hunting license beforehand. All antlerless deer license applications must be mailed to a county treasurer in the official pink envelopes; applications are accepted by mail only until over-the-counter sales begin (Aug. 24 in WMUs 2B, 5C & 5D; and Oct. 5 for all other WMUs). Please note: The address for the Luzerne County Treasurer’s Office was listed incorrectly in this year’s Hunting and Trapping Digest. The *correct* mailing address for the Luzerne County Treasurer is: 200 North River Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711. We apologize for any confusion.
