On Saturday, members of the Rotary Club of Manheim and member and advisors of the Interact Club of Manheim Central High School spent the morning together gathering trash along Route 72 north and south of Manheim. Interact is an international service club for students in high school sponsored by local Rotary Clubs for the purpose of giving students opportunities to volunteer in their community and globally.

An open letter to our Friends, It has become a tradition with Spence Funeral Services to host a Holiday Service of Remembrance the first Saturday of December for families we have served as well as others in the community that have experienced the death of a loved one. Unfortunately, due to the danger and uncertainty of COVID-19, we have decided not to organize and host a holiday service this year. Although the holiday service has been well-received and beneficial to those ...attending, the community’s health is equally important to us. Our hope and prayer is that our nation and world will be in a healthier condition next year and we can again host our Holiday Service of Remembrance in 2021. Regretfully, Bill Spence
