SPIN would like to give a special shout out to Gayle! For the last 21 years, Gayle has been a valued member of the Walmart Philadelphia - Franklin Mills Blvd team. She was responsible for stocking shoes on the shelves and ensuring the shoe section was tidy for customers to shop the latest fashions. If you have visited this Walmart store in the past 2 decades and purchased shoes, you have Gayle to thank for an organized and easy shopping experience! This past summer, Gayle, al...ong with the support of her family and her SPIN Employment Services Job Coach, decided that after 21 years of working at Walmart, it was time for her take the next step in her employment journey and RETIRE! While Gayle will miss her many coworkers, she is excited to begin this next chapter of her life. She plans on spending time with her family, trying out new baking recipes, doing crosswords puzzles, working out with her personal trainer and attending church via Zoom. The SPIN 5K is back with a virtual twist for 2020! 2020 has shaken up our lives, and made us realize we have a lot to be Thankful for. Between November 16-30th you can participate in the SPIN Thankful 5K anywhere you can run safely socially distanced from those around you. Keep track of your time and submit it for a chance to win a SPIN 5K medal. Participants will receive a SPIN Thankful 5K T-shirt for registering.
