St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Uniontown, PA

High School Youth Event tonight was really powerful. We went door-to-door on a Thanksgiving Food Bank Scavanger Hunt. The young men and women were great and folks were SO generous! It is estimated that 20% of the folks in Fayette County are living with food insecurity (uncertain they will have enough to eat). This is approximately 26,000 people! We talked about the Lord's Prayer and "give us our daily bread" and how we can live out that prayer towards others. The kids are alright, folks...

Help us to be mindful of the sacrifices they made and the hardships endured by their families and friends, so that we never take for granted the privileges they have secured for us.
