Holding on to anger and resentments, it’s so toxic. I struggle with letting go. I wish that I could say it’s something that can easily be done, but that’s not the case. At least not for me. Did you ever wonder what your hands would look like, in clay form? Like, the molds they make? Yeah, me too....Possibly E.T. for me..Edward Scissorhands comes to mind too. Or Christopher Elliot’s character from the Scary Movie( Scream Parody movies) Let me get the mashed potatoes and Turkey ready with my good hand I gotta laugh and make jokes, or else I’ll find myself crying. Crying not from feelings of defeat but from being so angry with not being able to wiggle normal l...ooking fingers in front of my face! No longer able to hold tubes, a needle and perform venipuncture. It’s so disheartening to have a college education and unable to make any use of the certification that had been earned. I used to jokingly say, these are my money makers and wave my hands. I suppose, it’s a similar feeling to what a surgeon must go through, as he or she gets older. The nagging thought of, what if I develop a tremor in my hand...They’d no longer be able to perform surgery. See more
