We're excited to announce Agency D3- Springfield Baptist's at-home VBS for July 27-31, 2020. While we cannot gather in large groups this Summer, your family can take home a VBS kit with a week of video lessons, craft materials, songs, and other fun ways to explore the Gospel at home. Today is the Day!!! Take a ride with your newest Agency D3 Secret Agent and head over to the church! Please arrive during your designated time slot (between 1pm and 3pm) that you selected during registration! This event will function similarly to a "school carpool". There will be posted signs for you to follow once you arrive! Please arrive at Valley View Road and Norwinden Drive. Here you will pull up along the sidewalk. At the posted signs, your child may get out of the ca...r to get their Special Agent ID Badge and Craft Packet! Your child will walk along the sidewalk while you drive slowly along the side (towards Larchwood Rd). Once they have received their ID Tag, Craft Packet and have taken the Special Agent Pledge they will get back into your car at Larchwood and Norwinden to return home. (This event is designed to be low-contact and 100% outside! If you feel uncomfortable participating, please let us know when you arrive and we will deliver the VBS supply kits right to your car.) We are just 4 weeks away from our "Agency D3" VBS week! (July 27-31). On Sunday, July 26th your family can pick up a complete VBS-at-home packet with everything needed for crafts, Bible lessons, and fun activities. I hope you'll meditate with myself and the youth group this week on the book of Ruth- a story that rejects a spirit of racism and reveals the work of God even in the midst of tragedy and pain. A timely reminder for us this week.

After a lot of planning and re-planning, we are excited to announce this year's VBS: Agency D3! While the pandemic restrictions have prevented large group gatherings, we have opted to create a take home VBS program for families to participate in at home. This kit will include links to lesson videos, craft supplies, and other fun things to help families experience the Gospel story at home. We can't do this without your help though.
