SVFC PT3 was requested last night to assist United Fire on a reported structure fire, on Petersen Rd in Dimock Twp. UN13 was first arriving and immediately requsted a 2nd alarm be dispatched with a heavily involved residential building fire. SPE1 was added to the call. The PT would assist in water shuttle operations, while E1 helped establish a water supply with UNE6 to feed almost 2000' of 5in supply line to the fire. The Red Cross will be helping the homeowners out, due to it being a total loss.

Springville Fire Company 28.11.2020

A busy night for members, bringing in an MVC and a Structure Fire. At 1837hrs, Units were dispatched for a reported one vehicle crash into the trees with an occupant still inside, SR29 just north of the firehouse. Crews arrived to find three total patients, one still inside the vehicle. Crews worked to stabilize the vehicle in order to extricate the patient and transport to an area hospital. The other occupants had no injuries. Crews cleared the call by 2100hrs. Units: SPSQD5... UNR1 LCR69 CMWH25 TUNK Amb1-9 At 0130hrs SVFC PT3 was dispatched to assist United in a reported attic fire, on Ridge Rd in S. Montrose. First arriving units found a smoke condition in the area, and immediately requsted additional units. Crews found insulation that had been smoldering to be the cause. The burned insulation was removed and any extension was extinguished. Units were able to clear by 0330hrs. There were no injuries.

The following roadways have been reported closed due to flooding. Please avoid these areas. State Route 11 in Great Bend Township is closed in front of Simmons-Rockwell due to flooding. Starrucca Creek Rd. in Harmony Twp. is closed between Lanesboro Borough and Melrose Rd. due to flooding in multiple locations. ... State Route 1039 in Bridgewater Twp is closed at Williams Pond due to the bridge flooding. Main St. in Brooklyn is closed near the intersection with Potter Rd. due to flooding. Harmony Rd. in Great Bend Twp is closed near the intersection with SR 11 due to flooding. Jennings Rd in Springville Twp. is closed from E Lynn Rd. to the county line.
