So this is for all my clients. I'm going to make an example out of myself. Your favorite nail tech here didn't practice what she preachesJust a few minutes outside in the cold without gloves on was all it took. I took the dog out to go potty then went out to the garage to grab the snow shovel and put it on the porch was only outside for about 10 minutes. Came in and went to put clothes in the dryer and snap! That nail unprotected and not moisturized snapped right off. Cold w...eather weakens unprotected nails terribly. So remember ladies use lots of oil as often as you can but especially at bedtime and if you can't get to me for your regular appointment for some reason keep a clear polish over those nails to add strength until I see you. If you run out of nail oil olive oil works great. And most important wear rubber gloves to clean and wear gloves whenever you're out in cold weather even if it's just from the car into the store. Super cold temperatures make unprotected nails dry and brittle causing breakage and peeling so keep those pretty nails cozy in gloves or mittens! Enjoy the beautiful snow today ladies! See more
