The residence life and housing team has been working diligently and precisely to finalize and launch a sign-up form to orchestrate a systemic move out for our residents. For the well-being of our community, we are limiting the number of people arriving each date/time period. Please continue to have your student check SRU email and once this sign up is ready, we will email all residents. ... If your student has already signed up and received an approval email for the 17th or 18th, please plan to arrive as scheduled. All others, expect to receive an email soon (within the next day) with instructions and system of vacating the halls. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The Housing and Residence Life team is working tirelessly to process each request submitted for accommodations, and for residents to pick up essential items. To finalize this week’s requests the online request form is active on the MyHousing portal, but our office will not process additional requests until Monday 3/16. As needed, please use Tuesday 3/17 (and beyond) as your first request for picking up essential items. ... We continue to thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we all work to assist our residents and for being patient as we work to provide services during this unique situation. Our priority is the safety and wellbeing of our campus community. As our previous housing communication stated: We ask that if you need Sunday/Monday accommodations, complete the requests by (latest) Friday at Noon to allow our staff to process the request, grant approvals, provide access, etc. NO REQUESTS WILL BE PROCESSED OVER THE WEEKEND! DO NOT plan to arrive on campus until you have received approval. Making a request does not automatically give you access/permission/approval.
