So, awhile ago, I told an acquaintance at a local Post Office how good these donuts are. During our conversation, I mentioned, when I could, I would get her so...me to try. Well, today was the day! Knowing I would be dropping the donuts off at her work this morning, I got some for her to share with her co-workers too. Later in the afternoon she called me about some work issues. Thanking me, towards the end of the call, she mentioned how good her donut was, describing the freshness and flavor, etc. Me: "That's great, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Of course, I knew you would. Did the others like theirs?" Her: "They didn't try them." Me: "Why?" Her: "That donut was so good, I kept the rest for myself! I'm taking them home!" Me: "Hahaha"...

Look what fryed up today...Made us all laugh!

My new "crew" & I will be open next week Friday & Saturday 6 AM until we sell out of donuts. I did do a soft opening today (Saturday) ( just put the sign out ). The response is to say in the least OVERWHELMING !! It has been an "enlightening" and also "very rewarding journey" these past several weeks in many areas of my life. I want to say thank you , thank you, thank you with all my heart to the hundreds of people whom reached out to me with words, thoughts, pr...ayers and acts of kindness that go way beyond what I can possibly comprehend or put into words! You have no idea what all of this means to me! You have all made me realize that there is so much love and compassion left in this world & evil really does not stand a chance against it! To all you prayer warriors out there, all i can say is WOW! "What was intended for evil, has been turned to good!" To my son Dane Collins , you have been more than any mother could possibly ask for ! You stepped up to the plate and went way beyond what was asked of you! You are an extremely brilliant man with your knowledge, ideas , concepts and know how of everything! ( you made yourself a lot of work!) huggies , kissies You put tiring hours in to so much for me ! Patiently teaching me day after day AFTER DAY how to live in this world of electronics & turning me into a modern techie nerd. ( I will never be whom I was before !! (Yes, the lectures too) I am proud to call you my son!!! I love you! To my other kid Danielle Schaeffer, you also are more than any mother in law could ask for! You always checked & still check on me when I am doing long days & evenings at the shop, call me, show up with food or make me a plate & put in the frig, or call me home to eat. You do my laundry , feed my cat & run my errands & help with everything! You even have gone as far as to learn to drive a lawn mower ! And you like it! I am going to start calling you MOM ! I am proud to call you my kid too! I love you. Thank you! To MacKenna, my precious Granddaughter..Helping me with whatever i ask you too and putting up with my cell phone questions???? I love you more than you know! Thank you! Last but never least! To my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, You know and see everything & you knew and saw everything ! You told me many many years ago; " Jesus Crossed Out The "T" In Can't At Calvary" (my copy right) " I Can do all things through Christ whom strengthens me" The scripture on my wall at the Donut Shop says; "With God , All Things Are Possible" Time & time again, you Lord ,have proved this to me!
