Last October, the Knights of Columbus Council 2068 sponsored an essay contest on Catholic Citizenship for all students in public, private and parochial schools in grades 8-12. The students were to write an essay on how trusting in God during a difficult time has helped you or someone you know find the strength and hope to endure it. The goal of the Knights of Columbus Essay Contest is to give students the opportunity to define the importance of religious freedom, and to strengthen the bond between the Knights of Columbus and their local schools. Please join us in congratulating our winner, Miss Lacey Miller, a student in the 8th grade at Saint Andrew School! The Knights awarded Miss Miller a $300 Amazon Gift Card.
