When Michael Borgioni passed away from Cystic Fibrosis, his parents wanted to honor his memory and his incredible spirit of perseverance. Because Michael's dream was to pursue a career as a Nurse Anesthetist, they couldn't think of a better way to do good in his name than by establishing a special award for St. Luke's School of Nursing students who live their lives just like Mike did. He is described by all those who knew him as caring, kind, polite, smart, and funny. He pro...ved that being a good person is a lifelong task, regardless of how long that life may be.
