Temporary Closure St. Michael's will be temporary closed until January 4, 2021 due to current COVID restrictions. St. Michael's Church cookie sale on December 19th is still on as scheduled. Please note the cookie sale is drive-thru this year and patrons will not be allowed to enter the building. Carside service will be provided. Also, please keep in mind that there are currently no plans of having any events sponsored by St. Michaels. For details of any upcoming events, ...keep an eye out for our Facebook posts. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and look forward to seeing you again as soon as possible!

Temporary Closure A message from Caroline: We hope everyone had a safe and Happy Thanksgiving! ... The PA alert that was put out on Wednesday had advised all of us to stay at home. We have decided to temporarily close the lanes today (11-27), Saturday (11-28), and Sunday (11-29). The junior bowling leagues and the Hazleton Owls league will not bowl. The lanes and center will reopen on Monday (11-30) at 6pm. Because of the increase in COVID 19 cases in our area we ask that all our customers will continue to follow the CDC requirement of wearing a mask at all times, especially now when indoors. This is for our safety and yours. Thank you for your continued support of our business. If we all comply hopefully we will be back to sort of normalcy soon. In the meantime, stay home and stay safe!

The 38th Annual Vic Lesho Memorial Bowling Club Tournament was held this weekend at St. Michael's Lanes in Freeland! Thank you to all of our bowlers for adhering to the CDC requirements of wearing your masks and keeping your distance. The bowlers competed for the first place prize money of $500. Congratulations to Shannon Kiddish, this year's champion! Shannon rolled a six game handicap total of 1489, winning the prize money along with the championship plaque. The tourna...ment paid out $1,540.00 in prize money. Molly Gallagher took high honors in the women's scratch division, winning the high scratch series with a 1072 and a high scratch game of 209. Jamie Haraschak was the men's high scratch series award winner with a 1234 series. Carl Matisak won the men's high scratch game award with a 259 single game. Rick Veneri was the 'loser drawing' winner. The top 18 bowlers will receive prize money which will be distributed at the lanes this Monday evening, August 24th, between 6pm and 8pm. A big thank you to all who participated in the Vic Lesho Memorial Bowling Club Tournament as well as those keeping us in your thought and prayers! We wouldn't be here without you all and we hope to see you soon! To our loyal customers and bowlers, we hope you are all doing well and staying safe! As we are still in the midst of a pandemic, we are working tirelessly to keep our facility safe for all of you and our employees. The Vic Lesho Memorial Bowling Club Tournament has been rescheduled for Aug 15th and 16th. With the new restriction in place of 25 people or less for indoor gatherings, a 10:00 am shift has been added on Sunday so that each shift can accommodate 20 bowlers.... Any bowler in the club who did not yet submit their choice of time to bowl can still do so by calling the lanes at 570 636 1530 if no answer please leave a message. As of today the only shift filled is Sunday at 1pm. Other shifts available are Sat 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm as well as Sun 10am and 4pm. We have decided not to include a meal as we have done in the past. Each participant in the tournament will be reimbursed the cost of the meal. Any questions or concerns you may have please call the lanes. If there is no answer, please leave a message and your phone number and someone will return your call. Thank you all for your cooperation and support!
