Things are moving along in the replacement of the old boiler that was beyond repair. The pictures in this post are of the removal of the old boiler to make room for the new.

Today is Reformation Day. Singers and musicians from Our Saviours Lutheran Church ELCA in Arlington Heights, Ill., joined together for a virtual choir rendition of A Mighty Fortress Is Our God, arranged by Matt Haider.

This year’s clothing drive is now complete. Looks like it may be a record this year! Thanks to all who donated bags of clothing, etc. Also a huge thanks to the crew that helped load the truck today. (Ruth, Karen, Justin, Ross, Mike, Eric, Glen, Ray and Doug)

Tomorrow, November 1st, is All Saints’ Day and we will light a candle in remembrance of members/friends of St Peter’s who died this past year. If you are worshipping with us from home, here are some ways to remember those who have past.

Our NE PA Synod has elected a new bishop. Thank you to Ruth Stump and Michael Master who attended the virtual assembly this year as St Peter’s representatives. God speed to our outgoing bishop, Bishop Samuel Zeiser and congratulations to Bishop Elect, Pastor Christopher deForest.

Trunk or Treat 2020! Thanks to all who brought their children and to all who decorated cars and/or donated candy.

Trunk or Treat today, 2:00-3:00, on our church parking lot! Children through 6th grade can come in costume and join our trunk or treat parade! In event of rain, we’ll have a drive-thru event.
