Gracias a Dios, todos en rectoría y hermanas en convento dieron negativo para Covid-19. La hermana que estaba en el hospital ahora está afuera y aislada. Ella esta mejor. Pastors message for Easter As I meditate on this Holy Saturday right before the Vigil on Easter, I am thinking about all the parishioners I cannot be with during this time. It may seem like we all are in sorrow with Mother Mary these days owing to reports of suffering and death because of the Coronavirus. Know though this suffering will be replaced by joy in the Lord’s time. Trust the Lord will bring resurrection to the world and has already started, even though all seems dar...k and sorrowful today. Let us hope in the promise of the resurrected Jesus, only through the cross can we come to salvation and resurrection in Him! I am reaching out with my heart to all of you with my prayers in this time in which may seem that Lent because of our anxiety and sacrifices. As some of you may know I offered special prayers for the whole parish in prayer march, March 24th, and again this past Palm Sunday. During the prayer march, I walked alone the whole parish boundaries, which we previously hoped to do with a group. I prayed the full rosary during this march, the Divine Mercy chaplet, exorcisms, and prayers of protection. This past Palm Sunday, you can see on the Facebook page, www.facebook.com/stveronicaparish, I led Eucharistic adoration with Fr. Jeff Obniski, IVE, Deacon Alexander Reyes, IVE, and the sisters praying for each registered parishioner by name and others by intention.
