Material Handlers will be manually loading and unloading trucks, moving furniture around the warehouse, and some furniture assembly may be required (Very heavy lifting IS required) Lift operators will operate a cherry picker to place or retrieve furniture items in the warehouse. The system is designed that employees will use a cherry picker (with fall protection) to access locations at and above ground level. Products will be moved by sliding the products from the racking sys...tem, onto a cart, which attached to the lift and secured by a locking mechanism. The cart has a rail on the backside to prevent products from falling from the lift/cart. Products are transported to and from the shipping/receiving docks as needed to store or replenish merchandise. Ability to work at heights up to 30ft is a requirement. This should be considered a hybrid position, employees will be moved between material handling and lift operator as needed. Employees will need to be flexible to switch between positions and should not expect to be on a lift all of the time.
