Anybody forget these friends at the park? A vet pet carrier full of stuffies, Elsa, and a scooter/helmet were all left at the park yesterday.

Weather looks sunny and warm today - a perfect day for the park! And Jourdie, we found your book on the field bench. It’s waiting for you in our nicely stocked *Little Library* Have a beautiful day everybody!

And Parks and Rec said - Let there be access! The field is officially open for community use!! PLEASE use the space responsibly. Also be sure to use the bins for your trash, and even consider helping out by picking up extra litter. Staffing is down due to Covid so that means our community involvement goes up!! *no organized sports/events/permits allowed at this time. #philaparksandrec #starrgarden #goodthingshappeninginstarrgarden

Team work makes the dream work!! Thanks to all our amazing volunteers who came out to help with today’s #LoveYourPark fall clean up. We lucked out by enjoying beautiful weather today as we swept up leaves, picked up litter and removed extra branches and debris from our playground and plant beds. PLUS, note that the streets department came and picked up leaves halfway thru our cleanup - so we actually cleaned up double the amount of bags than are pictured!!! Great work everybody!!!
