With 2020 closing and a new year ahead of us, we remember the things and people that mattered to us all through the year. There is no doubt that 2020 has been tough on everyone and non-profit organizations are no different. Going into 2021 we at The Steelton American Legion Post, Unit & Squadron 420 would like to thank all of you for your 2021 renewal & continued support throughout the year! Though things may have looked a bit different around the Post that didn't change the ...willingness to support Veterans & their families throughout 2020! The Pandemic is strong but our officers, patrons & staff have proven the Legion Family is STRONGER! This year we made some amazing strides & hit many goals! There were plenty of things that we weren't able to do but we made the most of it & continued our mission of service not self. We sponsored a social distancing Easter & Christmas for community children, made over 800 cards for the 2020 graduates of SHHS, McD & CD East, partnered with other nonprofits to provide food & gifts for needy families & made sure every Veteran got a flag on Memorial Day. Because of YOU even during a pandemic we were able to donate over $37,000 in 2020 to Veterans organizations & the local community! For that we THANK YOU!
