This week in Technology class, all students participated in the Hour of Code! Students worked on various coding activities on Code.org. Here is first grade. #HourOfCode

Congratulations to our December Lion’s Pride Award winners! Ryan in 6th for Gym, Jackie in 6th for Spanish, John in 4th for Art, and Noah in 5th for Technology. Grade level winners are Charlie in 8th, Marseo in 7th, Krystal in 6th, Gabby in 5th, Jasleen in 4th, Lucas in 3rd, Peyton in 2nd, Michael in 1st, and Adam in Kindergarten. Great job, everyone!

Our latest PBIS Lion ticket drawing winners are Regina in grade 3, and Gabby in grade 5. Regina chose a Dress Down pass and Gabby chose a Homework pass. Congratulations!

On December 8, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. God, then, is the Father of the created world and Mary the mother of the re-created world. God is the Father by whom all things were given life, and Mary the mother through whom all things were given new life. For God begot the Son, through whom all things were made, and Mary gave birth to him as the Savior of the world. Without God’s Son, nothing could exist; without Mary’s Son, nothing could be redeemed.
