#MotherAngelica was never afraid to speak the truth, and we shouldn't be afraid either. Pray, pray, pray for America. Pray for an end to the murder of innocent children. Pray for conversion and reversion for our leaders. Pray for God's Kingdom to reign on Earth! #EWTN #Catholic

May we keep in mind the gift of religious freedom and our duty to defend and exercise it as faithful citizens. #ElectionNovena #Election2020

According to tradition, St. Gertrude the Great was told by Our Lord that each time she piously recited the following prayer, it would release 1,000 souls (or a vast number) from their suffering in purgatory: Eternal Father, I offer You the most precious blood... of thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, for those in my own home, and in my family. Amen.

Dear God, thank you for the example of the Saints. I desire to join in their company, worshiping you forever in Heaven. Please help me follow their footsteps, and yours, Jesus Christ. Please help me to conform myself to Your image, seeking Your will in all things, as the Saints did. Please help me to devote myself, and all that I do, to Your glory, and to the service of my neighbors. Amen.

Happy Beatification Day Father Michael McGivney 1852-1890 Patron and Founder of the Knights of Columbus Father Michael McGivney was born in Connecticut to Irish... immigrants. He was ordained in 1877 and served the large Irish-American Community. In 1882, he started the Knights of Columbus, which provided mutual aid and fraternal support to the families who lost their breadwinner. His vision empowered the laity to serve the church and its neighbors. Today it’s one of the largest Catholic Fraternal organizations worldwide. Father McGivney died in a pandemic of pneumonia, like the coronavirus of today. https://www.portraitsofsaints.com//all-images-fr-michael-m See more
