A message from Woody - as always, we need lots of help! Well it is that time again. Our next distribution is Thursday the 17th, usual hours of 2 until 5:30. I... expect it will be our largest distribution yet. That is certainly the trend at food pantries, both nationally and locally, With people losing their unemployment benefits and many facing eviction at the end of the month the need is greater than ever. That said, we need to have boxes packed at ready to give out, as we did in November. Unlike last month, we don't have a great lot of boxes already packed. so we need to pack LOTS of boxes before 2pm on Thursday. We will start on Wednesday about 10 am and pack through the afternoon. On Thursday we will start at 10am and do whatever is necessary to be ready. SO. I need your help at any of the above times and hours. I do not expect anyone else to be there the entire time either day; just come when you can and leave when you need to do so. ALSO, the following Wednesday, the 23rd, we will be giving out hams, like we did with turkeys in November. We will be there beginning at 1pm and will start passing them out at 2, or earlier if we are ready, and we have folks waiting. We will probably be finished by 3 or 3:30. Any help you can give will be appreciated GREATLY! As always, stay safe, wear your masks and take care of yourselves and others. Help your neighbors! God Blessi See more
