Our students celebrated el día de los muertos yesterday! From Kindergarten to 8th grade students learned about these traditions for remembering the dead on All Souls Day in Mexico, Latin America, and our own communities. Our first grade students were excited to meet their new classroom visitors - the newly hatched baby chicks! On Tuesday, October 27, we celebrated our annual All Saints' Day Pageant! Our first grade students processed to Old St. Mary's Church, accompanied by the 8th grade class who made signs for each student's saint and sang "When the Saints Go Marching In" while they walked. Each first grade student dressed as their chosen saint and prepared a short biography that they presented to our guests! Thank you to our wonderful teachers and staff for making this annual tradition special ...and safe for our students and families! #StMary1782

First grade has some special visitors in their classroom!
