#STMscholars STM students in grades K-8 participated in school-wide Presidential election activities. In the morning, students got to watch Public Service Announcements created by 8th Graders about the importance of voting. 8th Graders decorated mobile voting booths which they brought to each classroom. Students were able to place their ballots by scanning a QR code which took them to a Google form to make their choice. In the end, President Donald Trump was victorious. Students may either submit a photo or prepare a Google slide of a veteran in their family (active or in memoriam). #STMspirit On Friday, our Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Graders participated in our traditional Halloween festivities, including a costume parade around the campus! #STMspirit Our first grade used candy pumpkins, candy corn, and toothpicks to make a structure that could stand on its own. The children thought of their ideas before building, then tried to create it. If it fell over, children problem solved and figured out a new strategy for the structure building. We had many structures, buildings, towers...even a pumpkin patch. One innovative student thought outside the box and created a pumpkin man and with a set dumbbells to go with him!
