"M.D. Becker is a self-taught photographer that works... and lives in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. His interest in photography began to blossom in 2007 when he brought his first camera, since then it has infinitely grown. His primary focus is on old building, barns and landscapes. Through his use of colors he creates a juxtaposition of a place that is familiar but, only exists in the mind of the imaginer. A place we remember from a dream but, never have visited. His works are a reflection of where he lives, by capturing the rich and vibrate colors of the landscape around Kutztown. His photography style is varied. He utilizes realistic, impressionist and abstract styles. He is a Juried member of the Reading-Berks Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen.
