Santa Claus joined the members of 275 to visit children throughout the town! This year with everything going on, we also wanted to make sure to spread holiday cheer. It was a nice thing to drive around the town and see so many smiling and happy faces. Merry Christmas from the members of the Stowe Township Fire Department! Remember the Fire Department is always here for its community!

Santa Claus is coming to Stowe Township!!! This Saturday, December 19th from 10 am to 2 pm. Santa will start at the Stowe Twp Fire Department at 10 am. After leaving the Fire Station Santa will travel to the following locations in order. 1. All the way up Broadway ... 2. To Island Heights and Around 3. Then onto McCoy to Roosevelt and Wheeler 4. After that loop through Pleasant Ridge 5. And around Main and Elizabeth 6. After that Santa will travel down Into Pittock 7. Returning to Island Ave on the way to Preston 8. Around Preston 9. Then heading back to West Park and around in Woodward and Russelwood 10. Finally Santa’s last stop in Stowe Township will be around Norwood 11. With the Winter Storm approaching remember to clear fire hydrants from snow near your house. It could save a life!

As many of you may know, one of our own members has been battling cancer. Eric Redefer, or as we know him as Bert, has been fighting for weeks now with chemothe...rapy, radiation, and more. He has a surgery scheduled for the upconing weeks. We are hosting a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Saturday 12/12 from 12-7pm at our firehall on Pine Hollow rd. We will have take out and dine in, but with limited seating, if permitted, due to the covid regulations. Our hall will be cleaned all times during the event. We will also have a chinese auction as well. We already have multiple baskets donated and we are still accepting donations of any kind to help support Bert. Dinner includes Pasta, meatball, salad, bread/roll. $10 donation. Tickets are available at the door, and you can also purchase them here and we will mail to you. The link is below. Bert is a long time dedicated firefighter as well as a loving friend to many. Recently Bert was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Due to powers outside his control his insurance was taken away. Bert is receiving chemotherapy as well as radiation therapy. Bert is also facing surgery. He has remained in very high spirits with all things considered. We have come together to support Bert with Bert's Battle! We are raising as much money as possible to help Bert out. Help him offset the financial burden he will be up against. Anything will help.
