Good afternoon everyone - I spoke with the Montgomery County Public Health Department this afternoon and they feel very confident that we did everything in our power to minimize the possibility of spread. At this time they have told me that, with the exception of the impacted family, it is not necessary for participants to quarantine or get tested (although if you would like to be tested you are welcome to do so as most Montgomery County testing sites do not require symptoms)..., and they recommend that all participants remain vigilant in monitoring for potential symptoms over the next few days. If you experience any symptoms, or receive a positive test result, please let me know as soon as possible. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates over the next few days, even if there is no new information, and if we are made aware of additional infections we will notify you immediately. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me directly at any time. God Bless, Rev. Jonathan Suloff

Good evening everyone, I regret that I am not able to share better news but I was informed this evening that someone who attended our Trunk or Treat event on Sunday has tested positive for Covid-19. We feel confident that all safety protocols were followed and respected and, especially due to distancing, masks, and the event being outdoors, that people are safe. We wish to be transparent with everyone and let everyone know so that you can take any precautions you might feel n...ecessary. We have attempted to contact all families that we have emails for directly but a few emails bounced back. We will keep you all informed as we receive more information or if we learn of additional cases that are related to the Trunk or Treat event. We understand that this news is certainly concerning and if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me directly. God Bless, Rev. Jonathan Suloff See more

[One of the Pharisees] asked [Jesus] a question to test him. ‘Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?’ He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord... your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets’ (Matthew 22:35-40). See more
