**Please help us spread the word** We are will be holding classes Dec 14-Dec 22 in our digital ZOOM studio! Zoom is very easy to use. There is an app available for Apple and Android devices, as well as a website for laptops/chromebooks/etc. Our personal meeting ID is: 911 547 4148... Here is the schedule! We will be combining both studios for online classes!!! How fun is that, a chance to get to know our new friends. We will be doing Christmas songs and holiday activities in every class from now until break begins. If you'd like to dress festive...go for it!! We'd love to see your Christmas jammies, holiday shirts, headbands, Santa hats...whatever you'd like, we'd love to see! Let's keep our spirits merry and bright! No one has more fun than us!!

Hey hey SK!! We are in the process of creating Google Classrooms for each class in each location. We will be posting class codes and sending out invites as soon as possible. These classrooms will function as our information hubs through out the next few weeks. We will also post the links for each class's Google Meet directly in the classroom. We are switching from Zoom to Google Classroom and Meet because the kids are so familiar with Google's set up now. Heck, they can navig...ate everything better than I can! Please keep your eyes peeled here and in our parent Facebook groups to stay up to date on in person classes, virtual classes, etc. Thanks!! Miss Kate

Classes resume tomorrow at BOTH studios!!! Woohoo!!!! Wednesday classes in Kane and Ridgway will be celebrating their Halloween parties. Please note...we are going to ask all children in kindergarten and up be wearing masks during class. Smaller classes that can socially distance safely may be able to remove their masks. We want to do our small part to help slow the spread again! **We do NOT expect tiny dancers or twinkle toes students to wear masks. Parents accompanying them are asked to wear masks though.** As always, we ask that you are diligently monitoring your child's health. If they are asked to quarantine by the school or health department, they must quarantine from dance. Those will obviously be excused absences.

A little update on some Studio K business

We are SO PROUD of our girl, Jenna Gregory! She’s your D9 Girls Cross Countrt Champ!!!!! Way to go, Jenna! Hard work, determination and dedication always pays off.

Please share!!! In keeping with health dept suggestions, we are going to CLOSE both studios (Kane and Ridgway) as of 9 pm tonight through Sunday, Nov 1. Life is better at Studio K!

Since both studios are closed this week (Thanks to COVID!), we've got a little homework for everyone. Log in to Netflix and watch the documentary about Debbie Allen's "Hot Chocolate Nutcracker." Debbie Allen was quoted in "People Magazine" with saying..""That's what the Hot Chocolate Nutcracker documentary is about young people seeing an image of themselves that propels them to want and go further," Allen tells PEOPLE in this week's issue. "When I'm training these young pe...ople, I expect them to get out in the world the way my mother expected me and [my siblings]. All of us get out here and do something and be productive. That is the character education that instills the creativity." Allen continues, "We have to have an incubation for creativity. A space that's open so people can think of something that they're not just getting from the internet or from television, that they're actually ingesting something that's now ready to come out in their way of doing it: creativity, confidence, being able to take criticism, deal with pain, and also to understand the freedom and the unlimited journey of your energy. Please read this important update regarding the COVID-19 situation at the Ridgway studio. Kane will be operating on a normal schedule this week. Ridgway will be closed. Ridgway students NOT enrolled at FSG/under quarantine/COVID-19 negative are welcome to come take class in Kane this week, next week, etc. ... As always, we thank you for your diligence in sending children to class only when they are healthy, haven't been in close contact with any COVID-19 positive patients, and making sure they have their masks and are wearing them appropriately.

Masks on for safety! We dance in our masks to keep each other safe. We use hand sanitizer every 15 mins. We don’t come to class when we have a fever, feel sick or may have been exposed to Covid. It’s pretty simple, really. We love our classes and our community so we do our part!

A very exciting announcement! Our Advanced and Teen Ballet Classes, with some special guests!, will be presenting selections from the Nutracker...live from the studio on ZOOM!! Free for all Studio K Families, $10 for anyone wishing to join us. We can't have a traditional holiday performance like usual...but that's not stopping us from bringing some Christmas magic to our friends and family! (This is not replacing our annual Dec/Jan performance) ... We can't wait to share our holiday spirit with you!

Hey SK Family! Brooke Lehman was recently diagnosed with cancer and is just beginning treatment at Children's. This is your call to action. Please consider participating in this easy fundraiser. 100% of the money raised will go directly to Brooke's mom, Kim. We are continuing our mission to surround the Lehmans with love, prayers, support and donations as they begin this long, incredibly difficult walk.

The Ridgway studio is looking festive! We LOVE this time of year!

How are we keeping costume sizing safe this year?? Lots of hand sanitizer, sizing examples get cloroxed between each kid, measuring tapes get sanitized between each kid...it’s a longer process this year but we will do what it takes to be in the studio safely!
