The Summit Hill Borough is now accepting debit/credit card payments. There will be a 3.25% surcharge for all payments processed by debit/credit card. Payments can be made in person or by phone.
Reminder to Summit Hill Residents: * Garbage pickup day will be Thursday. Make sure to put your garbage out Wednesday night for Thursday pickup. * There will be no more recycling. Please combine recyclables with the regular garbage.... * The garbage hauler will not be providing garbage cans. You will continue to be responsible for your own trash receptacles. * Ashes may continue to be placed out in cans. Do not put ashes in garbage bags. * The cost for the year will be $195. There will be no discounts for 2021. * Garbage bills are quarterly and will be mailed/emailed on or around January 15th, April 15th, July 15th and October 15th.

The Summit Hill Police are warning residents to keep their car doors locked at all times after receiving numerous reports of belongings missing from unlocked vehicles. If you have any information regarding these thefts, please report it to the Summit Hill Police Department at 570-645-7429.

Mayor McArdle has announced that Trick-or-Treat has been scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. with a rain date of Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. Trick-or-Treat will be for Summit Hill residents only! Below are some tips as to how to keep Summit Hill safe this Halloween season.
Summit Hill Borough Fall Cleanup Dates Saturday, October 10, 2020, the East side of town along with Knepper's Trailer Court and East and West White Bear Drive. Saturday, October 17, 2020, the West side of town along with Laurel Drive and East and West Mountaintop Road. . ... MAKE SURE ALL ITEMS ARE PLACED OUT THE NIGHT BEFORE!! Items to be picked up include: tires (no more than 4), tire rims, auto body parts, refrigerators, freezers, vending machines, dehumidifiers, water coolers, heat pumps, washers, dryers and stoves. All items shall have all chemicals removed and doors taken off. Freon must be removed from refrigerators, air conditioners etc. and tagged or they will not take them. In addition, up to 10 bags of garbage will be collected. NO ELECTRONICS WILL BE PICKED UP SUCH AS TV’S, COMPUTERS, KEYBOARDS, MONITORS, ETC.

**UPDATE: LILY HAS BEEN FOUND** MISSING PERSON ALERT - SUMMIT HILL, PA Lily Colancecco left her home at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, 7/26/2020. She was last seen in the woods in the area between the Panther Valley High School and Knepper's Trailer Court. She is 5' tall and has a slender build. She was wearing white stretch pants and a pinkish wind breaker.... If you have seen Lily or have any information, please call 9-1-1 immediately.
Summit Hill Borough Council will hold their meeting on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hill Top Community Center. Due to current restrictions, there is a max capacity of 25 people allowed in the building, which includes borough officials. Face masks or coverings are required and no one can enter the building without one. If you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, Please do not enter the building. Thank you!
