The Council of Governments Office will be open Monday thru Thursday 8 am to 4 pm. On Friday we will be available via phone 570-465-7644 or email [email protected]. At this time, we are making appointments for people to drop off and pick up, and we would very much like to keep this in place. But we also understand that people will be dropping in, we must keep to one customer in the lobby at a time to meet the social distancing requirements. Masks are required as well.

The Bi-monthly meeting scheduled for May 19, 2020 is canceled.

The Susquehanna County District Attorney's Office wants the citizens of Susquehanna County, especially those residing in the western townships, to know that the...re has been multiple thefts and burglaries reported in Forest Lake Township, Middletown Township and Jessup Township. Reports received indicate that both vehicles and homes have been entered into, rummaged through, and personal property taken. We highly recommend that you secure your vehicles, residences, garages and sheds, and safeguard your personal property. If anyone has information pertaining to these crimes, please contact the Pennsylvania State Police in Gibson at (570) 465-3154 or the Susquehanna County Detectives at (570) 278-6659/6661.
