Out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the safety of our volunteers and clients, the SVDP food banks will be closed tomorrow. A family member of a volunteer has tested positive and we have asked all of our volunteers to remain at home to ensure no inadvertent spread of Covid-19. We will re-establish services as advised by the PA Health Department. We apologize to the community for this disruption of service and look forward to serving you all again as soon as possible.

Due to the overwhelming generosity and increased donations, the SVDP Thrift Store will only be accepting donations on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. This will allow the staff to sort the goods and replenish the store. Thank you for your cooperation!

As a Catholic organization, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is called as the church commands us to work for racial justice, an end to systemic poverty, and to promote peace. We stand in solidarity with the Bishop and the Church around the world to call for racial justice.

Hello community members, A reminder that the SVDP food bank is operating Mon-Fri 8:30-10:00 for grocery pick-up. Thanks to the generous donations from our community, we are able and ready to serve all those in need. Please help spread the word!

Update: there will be no grocery pick-up this Friday, April 10th in observance of Good Friday. Anyone in need of groceries should come tomorrow or Thursday between 8:30-10:00.
