Our store will be locking the doors at 1:30 Monday’s thru Friday’s so that we may keep up with disinfecting the store in order to continue our efforts in slowing the spread of Covid. The porch will be open for donation drop offs after hours.
As a reminder, please leave your donations on the front porch after hours. The porch was closed in so that donations left would not get ruined. Since then donations are still being left outside in the weather. We have been trying to make drop offs easier for people after hours and yet they are still being left outside. So again please leave on the porch as porch door is unlocked.
Starting November 2, 2020 we will be leaving the porch unlocked and available for donation drop offs from 2p-6p Monday thru Friday and available Saturdays from 10-5. On those days the door will be locked after the posted hours to ensure the safety of customers and our Store. Cameras will still be monitoring the drop offs so please do not bring car loads. If possible please bring larger donation amounts as well as larger items to the store Monday’s thru Friday’s 10-2. Thank you and we hope this will help with those needing to bring donations after hours. Thank you and God Bless
Our store will be closed today, December 3, 2020 however, the porch is available for donation drop offs. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but we will reopen tomorrow, Friday, December 4, 2020 at 10 AM.
Due to Covid-19 Our Thanksgiving Day Dinner this year has been changed to Takeouts only and you must RSVP by Nov 24, 2020. Please call 814-615-8025 to place reservations as we will be making a limited amount of dinners. As always there is no charge for the dinner but donations are excepted and greatly appreciated. All donations we receive go back into helping out our community. Please remember this is for those who are in need of a hot meal, who have no where to go or to sh...are the holiday with and though you can’t eat in this year, you will still see many friendly faces showing how much we care for each of you. We ask that you do not take advantage of this dinner so that we may be able to provide enough for those who are in need. The dinner is 1 meal per person only and we have the right to limit meals per family. Delivery will be available in the Carrolltown, St Benedict and Bakerton area for those who cannot get out. In addition if you are making donations through the church for the Thanksgiving Dinner we ask that you please place it in an envelope and mark the envelope for St Vincent de Paul Store only that way we are assured to receive it, this goes for checks as well, please specify our store because if not it will be divided between us and the food pantry and the food pantry is not affiliated with this dinner. You may also drop off any monetary donations at the store Monday thru Friday 10-2. Thank you all so much, stay safe and God Bless. See more

Unfortunately, because this is the 3rd times items were dropped off in the back and in the rain, we will be raising prices. Everything you see in this photo was ruined because of the rain and now because some of it is larger items we will be charged extra to have it hauled away. Unfortunately we know this will never stop because people just want to get rid of their stuff but it cost us and our customers because we have to pay extra for haulage and we have to charge more to cover the extra cost of that. If you truly must leave items please be considerate and put them on the porch. You are hurting our community when you donate stuff that will get ruined outside. We give back to those in need and spending extra for hauling ruined items away takes away from us being able to help. Please be considerate when donating.
We just wanted to let everyone know that we will be doing the Thanksgiving Day Dinner again this year. Things maybe a little different but we will make it work. We will be asking for RSVP’s this year for those eating in as well as takeouts. Please remember that takeouts are only for those who are unable to get out such as the elderly, shut ins, etc. Takeouts will be limited to 1 meal per person and again must RSVP. We ask that people do not attempt to get extra meals so that ...we have enough. This is NOT an all you can eat dinner One meal per person no exceptions. I know we are facing hard times this year and we want to help those in need the most who have no family to spend the holiday with, that are in much need of companionship or are unable to provide a healthy meal for themselves. We will be posting more information on this very soon but we just wanted to get notice out to everyone. Thank you and God Bless. See more
