Total snow accumulations of 9 to 15 inches.... * WHERE...Wyoming and Luzerne counties. * WHEN...From 5 PM Sunday to 1 PM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This will be a long duration event. Several inches of lighter snow are expected Sunday evening through Monday morning. Then for Monday afternoon through Monday night, additional snow is expected which will be heavy at times, with snowfall rates occasionally in excess of an inch per hour. Snow will linger into Tuesday with areas of blowing snow. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. The last Beef Dinner for 2020 will be today from 4pm to 6pm. It will be a drive thru only. The dinners will have roast beef, mashed potatoes, peas, pickled beets, apple sauce, and roll.The dinners are $10. Thank you for all your support during these trying times. The Ham Dinner will be November 14th.
