Greeting Awesome Customers! We are collecting donations of warm winter gear and food for local homeless. As you are out and about, please pick up one item to donate. If everyone was able to donate one item, we could provide lots of people a full belly and warm fingers and toes. All cash tips collected in December will be used to purchase food and warm clothes for those in need. ... Needed items include: Wool/winter socks for adults and kids Warm/waterproof winter gloves for adults and kids Scarves and hats for adults and kids Ready to eat food- many have no way to cook or heat food. Protein bars and drinks PB or cheese cracker packs Ready to eat, pop-top, canned foods such as soup, baked beans, chili, ravioli, fruit etc Fruit snacks, individual snack bags of muffins, cookies, chips, etc Granola bars, cereal bars, pop tarts Beef jerky Bottled water, flavored waters or drinks Basic hygiene items: Baby wipes Deodorant Toothpaste and brushes Hairbrush and ties Feminine products Lotion Lip balms Disposable razors, shaving cream Hand warmers All items can be dropped off at Sweets Cafe and we will make sure that local people in need receive your donations. Many hands make light work. When we all come together, great things will be accomplished! Thank you!!!
