Happy 37th birthday, Chimes! Times are hard, but this old man is still loving life and the spring weather. He'd like to thank Ashley for the pictures and Brook for digging up his papers!

Email that went out Friday that we wanted to post here also: In compliance with Governor Wolf's state mandate for small businesses, but more importantly, for the safety of my family, my elderly parents, and my employees, the barn will be closed to horse owners and lessons until further notice. Your horse's daily routine will not change as turn-out will continue, weather permitting, and normal training will remain. For the boarded horses that may not have regular turn-out due ...to the weather, we will see that they get longed/exercised in your absence. Feel free to call me anytime during the day and check in on your "kids." Thank you for your understanding in these very difficult times. Furthermore, the April 4th Fun & Fuzzy Show is cancelled and will hopefully be rescheduled for later this year. Sincerely, Brook

Many of you may already be aware, but we wanted to post as well. Last Friday, our beloved Jean passed away at home. Two weeks before, some of the barn family visited her--complete with Dr. Suess hats for old times' sake! And a few weeks before that, Brook and Kelly trailered Issac and Lena for a special visit also. Jean was always a light on the farm, and words cannot express how much she will be missed forever. Our hearts go out to her son, RT Custer, and other family; and ...special thanks to Martha M. Smith for all her work and compassion. Funeral services are being planned for mid-April.
