Choosing a backyard play set for a small space can be overwhelming but we have a few quick and easy points to consider when shopping 1. Make efficient use of the space Consider a set that is built tall, not wide! The KC-1 is a great example of a compact set. 2. Small accessories = Big Fun Adding accessories is a great way to kickstart imaginations and pretend play. There are plenty of fun customizations you can add to your play set including tic tac toe panels, telescop...es, megaphones and rock walls. These allow you to add more play options while conserving space. 3. Don’t try to do it all It’s not always necessary to fit every possible component onto one set. You don’t need a 4-position swing beam for an infant that is more suited for a single baby swing. You could instead add an extension arm and upgrade the swing as your child grows. 4. Account for usage space Make sure to take into consideration the total usage space for a set and not just the footprint dimensions! Your play set needs an additional six feet on every side to allow room for children to swing, slide and walk around the set safely. See more
