Registration forms for the 2016 school are posted on the school's Group page. Please go there to get a copy of one (we can't figure out how to post one to this page, LOL!!!).

There will be a fire school this year on August 5,6, and 7. This will be a much smaller offering than in the past, but we will be offering a handful of good classes. We are hoping to rebuild and get a much bigger school going for next year. But we feel we need to offer up some kind of school for those in our area dedicated to training. The following classes will be offered: Friday night, Aug 5: Electrical Emergencies Rapid Intervention Teams... Saturday and Sunday, Aug 6 & 7: Fire Dynamics Fundamentals (Sat), and Fire Dynamics Strategies and Tactics (Sun). Pump Operations I or II Arson Detection for First Responders (NFA) Intro to Fire Officership Structural Burn Session Intro to Basic Firemanship Registration forms will be posted this week and mailed out to area fire departments, as well as posted on the SW PA Fire Chiefs Association websites. I know it is short notice, but when these come available, please make your selections and have registrations back by July 22.

Ok guys and gals, July 31 and August 1 & 2 are the dates for the 2015 fire school. Write this year off as a rebuilding year. We want to make this school grow and do better. We need YOUR help though. It's your school every bit as much as ours. Serious suggestions would be appreciated, and you can message me with those. What we are looking for are things like which classes you think would be successful in offering or ones you'd like to see specifically offered. Also, we need to... know the BEST way to get the registration info to you (US Mail, email, website, social media, etc...), and would like to hear your thoughts on other ways to advertise along with the way you prefer most. We try to reach people via all forms of communication and media, and if it means spending more to do it, so be it. Also, we kick around a lot of ideas such as vendors, a cookout, etc, etc.... Give us ideas of things we can do to attract folks back to the school. On a side note, certificates will be mailed soon, be on the lookout for those if you attended this year. We meet as a board of directors and committee this coming Sunday, so there we will figure out how the certs will be mailed (ie: individual versus department/company). So if you could, please have some suggestions into us before Sunday so we can talk about those things. We hope to have the classes set by then or just shortly thereafter, so we should be posting a tentative class list soon as well.
