11/22/20 Box 16-F working structure. The Squad’s crew assisted with overhaul while the Tanker hauled water.

11/22/20 Box 8-A working structure fire. Squad 8 laid 200ft of 5in supply hose from a hydrant. The Squadmen pulled 2 lines and quickly knocked down the fire. Crews then went inside to open up the walls and ceilings to search for extension. The fire was mostly contained to the exterior with minimal extension into the house. A great job by all companies! Thanks to mutual aid from Stations 6, 17, Clfd 36, and Clfd 74.

Box 8-B outside fire. Squad 8 arrived to a large wood debris pile on fire. The squadmen worked 2 hand lines while a front loader tore the pile apart. Tanker 8, Tanker 6, and Clfd Tanker 30 hauled water while Engine 17 set up a fill site

11/9/20 multiple working fires. Box 40-Y working structure fire. Engine 8 was originally requested for standby then upgraded to the scene while enroute. Crews provided RIT and assisted with overhaul. Indiana County outside fire. Brush 8 was originally requested for standby and then upgraded to the scene of a large wildfire. ... Box 20-A working structure fire. Squad 8 responded on the 2nd alarm. The Squadmen provided RIT and then assisted with overhaul. Thanks to Curwensville Station 8 for providing standby for our area.

11/1/20 Sykesville Structure Burn Class. Members from Sykesville, Big Run, McCalmont Twp, and Reynoldsville Participated in a 16 hour structure burn class. Thanks to Symmco Inc. for letting us use the house for multiple trainings. ... Thanks to Reynoldsville FD, McCalmont FD, Pine Creek FD, Sykesville Ambulance, and DuSan Ambulance for their assistance on the day of the burn.
