103-4by12’5/8 sheets fire code x board is what we hung on these ceilings. It is not very forgiving on the wrists hands or finger nails. I truely believe that the new 1/2 sag resist board is all you need but also believe the customer is always right to a certain extent. So some times it’s just better to leave the sleeping dog lie. We got the harder more dangerous and muscle demanding part of this job knocked out with ease and safety. With the garage being over 12 foot the h...ouse being 10’ with 11’ trays and the 20’ cathedral I’d say we did ok as far as time frame goes. We got there at the end of last week there was zero heat no spray foam and no board hung anywhere. So now that it is all foamed ceilings are done and attic now has r-49 of fiberglass blow in. This house is well underway. Now let’s just hope we get some steady heat going in there so we can get our other 260 some sheets acclimated to be hung properly and finish to dry with ease. Stay tuned and as always shoot questions share my posts and tell your friends. I can’t drywall the world but I’d sure like to give it my best shot. Thanks for checking this out. See more

What are you supposed to do when your drywall lift only goes 11’6? With quick thought I cobbled this extension together. I always have been a firm believer in where there’s a will there’s a way. This just seconds that theory. Also I’m glad it worked, cant be killing our backs just yet lots more fun to go!! We’ve made great progress on this project 260 more sheets to go and then we will be slinging mud.
