While I loved science and my academics, I had no plans after graduation as far as career was concerned. I started in sales and fell into working at a Staffing Firm. I have no formal background in HR but through networking and capitalizing on my soft skills I was able to move into roles that I was passionate about. Make the most of your skills outside of your degree! Also I interned at the Philly Zoo as an Education Ambassador and it's a program that still exists today! #meetthestaffmonday

While I meet with any student, my liaison areas are the STEM fields, so I work closely with the College of Science and Technology and the College of Engineering. Where is your favorite place to eat on campus? There are so many options but I continue to gravitate towards Maxi's and The Bagel Hut because c...arbs are life. What are you reading right now? I'm going between the classic Ann Rule novel "A Stranger Beside Me" and, when that gets too horrifying, switch over to "Where the Crawdads Sing". What are some fun facts you'd like to share? 1. I've been a band kid forever coming from a long line of band kids, participating in color guard. Did it throughout all of school and joined drum corps where I got to perform all over the country. I still teach it to this day! 2. When our favorite diner closed they had an auction and I won this giant neon donut. 3. My family has a cabin in the Poconos and it is my all-time favorite spot in the world!
