It was an honor to be a part of this event. I loved being able to share my knowledge of Pyware with these Latin American teachers!

Today, I completed the Scott Chandler: Design Advice from FWD March course found at Marching Arts Education. (www.marchingartseducation.com) If you are a designer in any aspect for the marching arts, whether guard, music composition, or drill/show design, I HIGHLY recommend taking this course. Thanks Tim Hinton for what you provide through Marching Arts Education!

I am honored to have been selected for the top 10 in Pyware’s Social Distancing Drill Challenge! Drill designers were all given an except of music from Randall Standridge to write drill with 40 or more marchers all at least 6ft. apart (3.2 steps). The top ten all made at least one of the three judges’ top 3 picks. Judges were Michael Gaines, Kevin Nix, Bob Buckner, and Tim Fairbanks. There were a total of 75 entries. ... Please enjoy this video compilation of the top 10! The winner will be announced May 13th at 9 pm CST (10 pm EST) at the start of Pyware’s weekly Night School.

Hey Marching Band Directors! Have you been toying with the idea of a digital dot book for your students? Most have smart phones anyways, so why not use the technology they have in their pockets? (Because you know the phones are in their pocket during practices even if you told them to leave them in the band room...) Check out this YouTube Video from Pyware and Ultimate Drill Book (UDB) explaining all the wonderful features of the UDB app. I guarantee you will not regret ...investing in this app for your students each marching band season! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPpiHgnqLw8&t=45s
