The Dauphin County Democrats would like to thank everyone who made a phone call, worked the polls, donated to a candidate, participated in this year’s Primary Election in any way, shape, or form. Especially under the circumstances of dealing with a public health pandemic. Due to the allowance of mail-in ballots, election results will not be available tonight. The Dauphin County Elections office issued 40,257 mail-in ballots and received 33,024. 22,275 of those ballots receiv...ed back were Democrat. As you can see, it will take awhile for the Elections office to accurately tally all these ballots. Thank you to all our candidates who stepped up and ran for office this year. It is not easy to put yourself out there, but you did it, and should be proud! We especially would like to thank everyone who VOTED! Please always remember that real change happens at the ballot box so let your vote be your voice! We see daily what happens when people do not vote. Voting is how we will get the elected officials we need to implement the policies and laws that will make the real changes American society so desperately needs. Democracy works when everyone participates! As we wait for tonight’s final election results, remember that the real work is just beginning! We need your participation now up to the November 3rd Election to ensure Democratic victory! Thank you! Rogette Rogette Harris, Chairwoman Dauphin County Democratic Committee www.dauphindems.com
