We'll be open again tomorrow, Friday January 8 from 9:00am - 3:00 pm, for skiing and snowshoeing. And we'll be charging HALF DAY RATES for the day! We will be C...LOSED after tomorrow until we get more snow, as the trails have been slowly melting and we want to preserve what we have. There is still coverage on most of the trails with patchiness and iciness in some areas. The following trails are groomed for classic skiing with tracks: Lake Trail, Hidden Pond, Backway, Big Fern, Laurel, Pitchpine. Blue Moon, Sassafras, Super Loop, and Wazoo are groomed but don't have tracks set. All of our typical snowshoe trails will be open: Lake Trail, Catfish, Birchview, Lake Ridge, Woodland, Whipple Mill.

We got about 5.5 inches of snow yesterday, and our groomer has been out grooming this afternoon! We haven't heard details from him yet in regards to the trail c...onditions, but we think it's safe to assume that it's likely we'll be able to open tomorrow! We will post specific trail conditions when we have them. SOME FRIENDLY REMINDERS: - The mountain road can be very slick. We recommend that anyone coming up have a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive car. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will not be able to rescue anyone who gets stuck on the mountain. - We are not able to provide food or beverages of any sort this year due to COVID-19. You are welcome to bring your own food, but all trash is pack in, pack out. - Due to the time of sunset, we will be closing each day by 4:30.

We got in contact with somebody who is planning to be up before lunch today to plow our road. We will then be able to start grooming, and if all runs smoothly we hope for an opening tomorrow, Saturday, December 19 with a handful of groomed trails.

We got around 2 feet of snow overnight last night. Our plow got stuck this morning, so our groomer won't be able to get in until we are able to find someone who... can plow our road. It is strongly recommended that drivers use 4 wheel drive to make it up the mountain. Because of COVID-19 restrictions, we will not be able to pick anyone up if they get stuck on the way up the mountain. Also due to COVID-19, we will be unable to offer food, snacks, or drinks. Skiers are welcome to bring their own food and drink, but we ask that you pack out all of your trash.
