In years past we’ve had a sit down family style Christmas Party at The Center. This year we are not able to gather but would like to send some Christmas cookies home with our folks from Meal Ministry! A little love to each home! If you like to bake, we are seeking your assistance for cookies. New Life Community Church is passing out December's brown bag lunches December 19th between 12pm and 1pm at the Center of Bellevue. We would like to include a dozen assorted cookies ...to every lunch recipient. If anyone out there is able to donate 2 or 3 dozen cookies for the December 19th, it would be greatly appreciated. Cookies can be dropped off at New Life Community Church by Friday December 18th. The church's office hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am - 1pm. Or call Kim Brown at 412-352-6453 to make arrangements for drop off or pick up.

I miss you all terribly! I can’t wait to see you all again! I pray for you daily and as you cross my mind I say a prayer for your health and well being. I’ve been working hard to keep The Blessing Box filled as it’s one of our only outreaches that can continue during this time. This was filled by my coworkers at Arnett Carbis Toothman LLP. I have referred several of our care partners to help with Bellevue Farmers Markets Meal delivery during this time through donations. Please see their page to donate or sign up for deliveries of food. Hang in there, there is Hope on the horizon! Lean into your Lord and let’s all spread some love! Miss you all dearly, Jill Matos, Director of Ministries.

-Based on the recommendations of the CDC & Governor Wolf we are closed until further notice. -All Ministry Programs are on hold and no groups are to gather at The Center of Bellevue at this time. -We apologize for any inconvenience and hold your best interest in mind with making this decision. -412 Food Rescue is working on a feeding schedule for our area that I will post when available. -Bellevue Farmers Market is providing a home delivery a couple days a week and more info ...can be found on their Facebook page. Stay safe, stay well, keep praying and I miss you all already! ((((((Hugs)))))))), Jill Matos Director of Ministries See more

There were lots of important collections for our community this year so I didn’t ask for cookies for The Center of Bellevue’s Christmas party tomorrow. However ...if you are baking today and have some to spare our party is tomorrow. Drop off Hawley Avenue doors anytime after 4pm! Just beep and we will run out or I will have runners at the door! Thanks for the continued support and love for our community! Please share this post! See more

Christmas Service Project: If you are looking to bless someone this Christmas I have a simple request! BAKE some cookies! I am looking for 100 dozen cookies to send home with our folks from Monday Night Meal Ministry. What is that Monday Night Meal Ministry? For almost 4 years at 6PM on Monday nights we open the doors to The Center of Bellevue (across from Lincoln Bakery) and serve a free hot meal to anyone who walks through the door! Typically 80 or more people. Each week... a different church or group serves the meal. Monday, December 17th is our Christmas Party! We would like to send each person home with a dozen cookies to take to enjoy in their home for Christmas. The Cookie Project was "birthed" when I realized many people who attended didn't know what a cookie exchange was....soooo share some "made with love" cookies with your neighbors in Bellevue. If you are able to commit to a dozen or two or more please comment below. Drop off will be between 2PM-5PM on Monday 12/17 (double doors on Hawley Ave.) or I can pick up on Sunday if that is more convenient. We will then plate the cookies. I will return your containers too! Thank you in advance for sharing your kindness and love with strangers. During a season that some feel alone it's amazing what a simple gesture like this can do to brighten someone's day! PLEASE SHARE! See more
